FREE Introduction to Permaculture - A Design System for Responding to Climate Change

  • Resilient by Design Storefront 302 Folsom Street San Francisco, CA, 94105 United States (map)

This is an Urban Permaculture Institute event.

Permi-curious? We can design our way out of the social and environmental challenges we’ve created on Earth – climate change, species extinction, poverty, inequity and more. Many people have heard the term "permaculture" but few have experienced a complete introduction to the ethics, principles and methods that comprise the design system.  Many don't realize that permaculture design can be used in a broad spectrum of spheres of application - from coastal adaptation to urban agriculture or from composting toilets to natural building.  In this 1 hour introduction we will hear stories from real, on the ground, projects showing ways we can meet our needs while being beneficial to all life.

If you love good food, regenerative farming, natural building, community building, coastal adaptation, renewable energy and are curious about a design system that ties it all together to respond to the challenges of our time,  then come check out this free introduction.  Take part of an evening to reawaken your hope for the future of the environment and people everywhere and ask questions and discuss what you want to know about. See images and stories permaculture design techniques and strategies around the Bay Area. This is an opportunity to meet like-minded people, create community and have a good time! Inspiration guaranteed or your money back!
