Resilient by Design | Bay Area Challenge is a year long initiative to develop innovative, community based solutions to sea level rise and severe storms in the Bay Area. Hear from three Resilient by Design teams about their vision for a more resilient Bay Area. Public Sediment is working with communities to enhance sediment flows in Alameda Creek, creating new access for fish, and expanding public access between upland and lowland communities. The Field Operations Team is creating a holistic and multi-scale approach to the South Bay, focusing on connectivity, equity and environmental issues. HASSELL+ proposes the creation of points of collection in South San Francisco and a series of connections from town centers; transit nodes to the waterfront.
